The nylon entry guide on the side plate is an evolution of the more traditional metallic entry guide to be welded with the guide and the plate.
This nylon component is screwed to the plate and to the guide by means of a connecting bracket, thereby facilitating assembly, maintenance and repair procedures: with the welded metal entry guide, each change requires a long process and often all the welded elements need to be replaced.
Further advantages are:
- silence and the greater fluidity of the rolling shutter in operation
- possibility of sending the entry guide and plate separately, to be mounted during installation
